Bilingual class (English class)
In the English class there are up to 17 children, one Czech speaking and one English speaking teacher + a native speaker who works with both classes. Children learn both languages by staying at the bilingual environment whole day. Firstly they gain the passive language (they start to understand) later they start to speak. After 3 years they are usually able to speak both languages. In English classes we do activities in both languages, we focus to develop both. Each child takes a part in a small group and goes to Reggio atelier once every 14 days. The whole class is learning within projects. Various activities (creative, musical, movement), trips and excursions make part of the weekly program.
Czech class
In the Czech class there are up to 21 children and 2 Czech speaking teachers. Each child takes a part in a small group and goes to Reggio atelier once every 14 days. Whole class is learning within projects. Various activities (creative, musical, movement), trips and excursions make part of the weekly program.
